So today is Valentine's day and my birthday. I spent the day making a hat....it was frustrating but in the end I won by figuring it out. The best part about the day was friends and family phoning, emailing and the messages from people on facebook.
Marcus essentially made the whole weekend into a birthday celebration and we had a lot of fun on Saturday doing mostly window shopping. In the end he got me a little shiney from Lidl, and a bouquet of flowers, roses. Quite lovely. However the biggest deal for me was getting to be with him, really that's the best present of all. Now that he has this manager job he's busy so any time that we get together is precious and I treasure it.
Time is a gift.
