I have to say on this the darkest, longest day of the year I am thankful for the people who light up my life. I am thankful for my friends. I count myself lucky to have some pretty amazing people in my life. Some have been in my life for a long time now and some are still newer friends, some are very far away and a few are closer, though there is no one within walking distance any more. On New Year's one of these amazing people is flying over ( to hang out). I am blessed with such friends.
